The Importance of spreading the message of Swami Vivekananda among the masses, particularly the youths, may hardly be overemphasized.

There is a great demand and ready acceptability to the life changing thoughts of Swamiji in India and abroad. Many Organizations and individual leaders peddle Swamiji’s thoughts as their own, more often distorted forms, to satisfy these demands. Young people are attracted to these organizations and leaders, in many cases, end up frustrated, and even lose all faith in religion and spirituality. As custodians of precious message, that is destined to mould the history of India, nay, the whole World, for better, it is our sacred responsibility to carry this message to the doorsteps of every young men and women in India. We have to be more stress, more systematic and more proactive to motivate the Youth.

Swami Vireswaranandaji Maharaj, in one of his speeches remarked, “It is therefore necessary that this Ramakrishna-Vivekananda message should be spread all over the country so that youth of the country instead of wasting their time and energy in useless political procession, etc., as at present, (now we have to add social media to this list which drains away all the time and energy of the youths) would take to this constructive work of educating masses, thereby they will be doing greater service to the masses than they are doing now. That is why we stress the need of spreading Swamiji’s message.”

The role of the Youth Cell of our centres are paramount with respect to the implementation of all our plans. To the Youth we would say, you are the soldiers in the militia of Swamiji. It is your good fortune that you are getting this opportunity to take the message of Swamiji. Discharge this sacred responsibility ty taking everyone along with you, with humanity, passion and dedication under the guidance of the head of our centre.
